Horseback and Locrian

It's chilly and gray outside (see awesome), so what better time to pair some droney, ambient doom metal with cloudy weather?  The black-metal-meets-Americana vibe of North Carolina's Horseback swirls and echoes inside the ethereal drone and gloom of Chicago's Locrian.  Hello Sunday morning.  The bands' collaborative album "New Dominions" is due from Relapse next month.  Listen to an album preview below.
