Iceage - Forever

A few weeks ago, we heard the newest jam from Danish post-punks Iceage, "The Lord's Favorite."  On it, the band tweaked their often bleak material with some tinges of cowpunk, breathing whole new life into the band's formula.  It just worked.  And now we have another new tune, "Forever," from the forthcoming new album "Plowing into the Field of Love," and it mixes in some American Gothic undertones with all the country-post-punk and oblivion.  It sounds kind of like something Nick Cave might have dabbled in 20 or 30 years ago, and it's awesome.  Look for the album in October from Matador, and watch the video for "Forever" below.
