"The Return of the Living Dead," great zombie movie, or greatest zombie movie? This 1985 classic was written and directed by Dan O'Bannon (screenwriter of "Alien"), and has been popping up all over my social media feeds of late, as my friends are finding time to revisit the film just in time for Halloween. I'm pretty sure this was the first zombie movie to have our walking dead seek out human brains to devour, and the 80's punk aesthetic of the cast is just great. Oh, and it's hilarious.
